Name
[edit]Finding plenty of evidence that he was known as Victor Dickel - searches for V. Dickel may well throw up more sources than anything else. Blue Square Thing (talk) 08:44, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- I've just made a redirect from Victor Dickel. Was he related in any way to Dunedin-based cricket and basketball player Carl Dickel and his sons Mark and Richard? Grutness...wha? 13:22, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- There's nothing being shown anywhere, although the name crops up quite a lot in that part of the country from the 1860s onwards. There's a decent chance there's an extended family at play, but nothing that I've found so far. I suspect there's a case here to move this article to Victor Dickel btw, although I'm not sure I'll have the chance to do any work on it now. Blue Square Thing (talk) 06:41, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
