The name change is necessary because "Ddnard Napattalung" is the official name of the subject. She uses the name as her author name and on her social media. It is basically similar to stage name of many singers/musicians such as Madonna or Lady Gaga.
You can check her website, social media and news articles such as below:
Wikipedia doesn't necessarily follow what people and organizations call themselves; see WP:Official names. We follow what independent English-language reliable sources commonly use. The examples you listed (the links a broken, by the way) are promotional pieces, and Google search results for DDnard are likewise mostly promotion for her The Compass of Now book. On the other hand, sources taking a critical look into her career mostly use her real name, e.g. the Bangkok Post[1][2], The Nation[3], and some Thai journal articles[4][5].
There is some independent coverage that uses her pen name e.g. [6], but this must be shown to constitute the majority of sources for it to be used as the article title. Please consider starting a WP:requested move discussion to invite further input. --Paul_012 (talk) 15:16, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I inserted URL's incorrectly. Please try them again now. Also here a couple more
I get what you are saying, but she is better known with the name Ddard now and how she uses her own name on Social media, her website and press releases.
Take look at example with Gordo (DJ), who changed his name from Carnage. He has in fact more news articles with the name Carnage if you count the names in the existing references, but his Wikipedia page reflects his new name. Sabrinagabby (talk) 02:15, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For name changes, there's WP:Naming conventions (people)#Self-published name changes to consider. More recent reliable sources should be given more weight, but the problem with the examples given, as mentioned above, is that nearly all of it is paid promotion, so unlikely to be regarded as reliable. This is my take, of course. You'll likely get wider input from a Requested Move. --Paul_012 (talk) 06:50, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
