Frankfurt concert

[edit]

The concert in Frankfurt on 28 May has not yet officially been cancelled. The city council has instructed the event organisers to cancel it, but as of today tickets are still on sale. --Viennese Waltz 10:16, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi everybody,
Nevertheless, it would be appropriate to feature the 'Frankfurt incident' in the 'Controversies'-section, as news of last days show:Cancellation of Roger Waters goes deep, Waters' lawyers criticize denunciation of symbolism, the city wants to cancel the concert, the cancellation is in work. But Waters involved his lawyers and threatened Frankfurt to go to court if the cancellation will be realized. It was a discussion as well, if Waters' criticism is "freedom of speech", or if it contains anti-semitism. Due to Germanys history with 3rd Reich, it is highly controversial to show the Star of David on a pig (a private person could be sentenced for that) Makkabi-Boss:"A Mistake, to allow this concept". A cancellation could cost Frankfurt millions of refund. The cancellation- and trial-costs could eventually be given to the tax payers. Waters' lawyers threatened Munich as well, if the city will realize a cancellation for their concert date Waters' lawyer threatens Munich... This topic was huge in Germany the last weeks. Maybe we have to wait until this incident is closed, so someone could then insert this in the 'controversies' section,... Best regards, Greetings from Germany ;-) 2A02:8071:A583:D9A0:1087:7ABC:CA57:CACC (talk) 12:33, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I fully agree with your suggestion. Let's wait and see the outcome of the Frankfurt situation, and then update the article. By the way, a source for the statement of the city is at [1]. --Viennese Waltz 13:09, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why is the european leg of the tour left out? 2A02:A03F:9FE7:1B9D:69B2:F22F:41D7:2782 (talk) 07:53, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Could you possibly elaborate on what you mean by the European leg being left out? HorrorLover555 (talk) 14:41, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
