The second paragraph somewhat belies the "Ancient Tamil Village" claim in the first..! Tamil supremacists at work here again? I have included a link to an article to give the reader the benefit of a few pictures however the article itself has a strong Sinhala-Buddhist bias and also very badly written.

Yes I agree, this information on Thiriyai is extremely bias and politically motivated. Tamil extremists distort history here and shamelessly using wikipedia for their political propaganda.

The article obviously contain fake facts. I tag them with my recent edits. Waiting some days until someone address them. The addition of fake facts are believed to be done with these edits by a user.--L Manju (talk) 08:38, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to that is the article also lacking of citations. I have added some now, rewritten some and made other fix. I will continue adding some citations, eventually rewrite some parts and add more content for improving the quality of the article. Xenani (talk) 13:52, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
