Thirdspace is not relevant
Other than sounding similar, Soja's concept does not parallel Oldenburg's. Thirdspace is a synthesis of personal experience (firstspace) and conceptual imagination (secondspace) in how we give meaning to space. There's value is raising it for the purposes of disambiguation (since they sound the same). But I'm not sure it does that in its current form.
