No, because it was never really the 'official' name of the courthouse I think we would just use sentence capitalization I don't think "United States" is needed in the first sentence. Removed Description When first mentioning Shaw, include the full name and a brief description of who they are. Done History Do you know Colonel Vorhees's full name? If so, would be good to include in the first mention. linked James L. Voorhees "a dynamite cartridge inserted in each corner and then exploded." Move the period after the closed quotation mark. Per WP:LQ, as the period exists in the original sentence (which I have just confirmed), it is correct as is in the article. In 1964, The Post-Standard wrote that Syracuse was seeking offers from private interests for the courthouse and that it seemed "certain" the building would be "razed" if no other use was found for it within "six months". The quotations in this sentence are a bit excessive, I'd suggest rephrasing to either include a single longer quotation, or paraphrase the quote. Sources are a bit inconsistent, and it isn't technically part of the building's name, I just use it here to clarify from the Third. When I create the building on the fourth courthouse, for instance, it will be located at Onondaga County Courthouse. Can't find where in the source it says that the building was named "Syracuse Newspapers Building". It's in Hardin, added Shaw, Diane (2020) In 1829, as the economic center of the county changed with the growth of a salt industry, the court was moved to a new building in the middle of Salina... The source on p.49 says this took place in 1827, not 1829. Shaw says the decision to move the courthouse was made in 1827 but talks a little about the disagreements over where to actually construct it. hardin makes it a bit clearer that the courthouse was moved in 1830 (1829 was when the old courthouse was closed so it's not entirely accurate to say the switch happened that year, but I think that's where the confusion originated), so I've clarified. It's because they show two different sides of the courthouse, so I'd prefer to keep them, but if you are unconvinced I could remove one.
