1. I have the feeling that the article is limited to liquids (not gases). The one-third boundary layer scaling for laminar flow should be only for . For , it should be a one-half scaling. 2. Also the "Thus the thermal boundary layer thickness for turbulent flow does not depend on the Prandtl number but instead on the Reynolds number." should probably be "Thus the thermal boundary layer thickness for turbulent flow does not only depend on the Prandtl number but also on the Reynolds number."

Unfortunately, I have a different version of the Schlichting book and cannot see, which equations exactly are listed in the article, but I am certain that assumptions are missing. 31.21.104.91 (talk) 11:25, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
