Article Structure
[edit]The outline or structure of this article is a mess. It needs to be reconfigured. It should be almost entirely chronological in the body. Blue Tie (talk) 17:18, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
Vessel health
[edit]vesselhealth is trying to do something similar, but checking pee instead of blood, can anyone write comparisons? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8000:AB41:8F00:3C2F:A736:92C9:B2CA (talk) 20:45, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
"False" claims
[edit]There's been some controversy over whether to use the word "false" in the first sentence. I'm leaning toward keeping it. A ton of reliable sources (and the US government) say that Theranos made false claims. Before I revert, I want to open up the topic for discuss. Andrew327 16:47, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- The firm has avoided actual testing of its techniques. Thus, the remote possibility exists that there is a fine pig in the poke. User:Fred Bauder Talk 23:21, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
12 missing years
[edit]What, in detail, went on from 2003 to 2015? When did the representation that so much could be done with a few drops of blood began and who made it? How were the major investors brought in? By who? Need a section on the charismatic characteristics of the founder, including some illustrative videos like those used in the 60 Minutes segment. User:Fred Bauder Talk 23:21, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

Edison machines
[edit]There seems to be surprisingly little information about the actual machines. According to this article the Edison appears to be a glorified autosampler that required all the usual vials and chemicals, albeit in smaller quantities. Some say they did work but were inaccurate or unreliable, others suggest they were fake or vaporware. If they did work they would perhaps be similar to a Keurig or Nespresso machine which did not reinvent the way coffee is made but simply made it more convenient for the user and much more profitable for the seller. Did Theranos publish any technical details?--92.201.201.61 (talk) 11:22, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
Temporary restriction?
[edit]Theranos has recently been made popular again by the ongoing trial of the former owner and a copious amount of social media posts. could a temporary edit protection be proposed? 93.144.52.130 (talk) 09:00, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
New section needed on the trial
[edit]We have a bit on the allegations and a bit on the indictment. A new section is needed. S C Cheese (talk) 11:32, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
Section added on "Criminal proceedings" and some text moved. S C Cheese (talk) 11:41, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Now needs reconciling with the summary at the top. S C Cheese (talk) 11:47, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- I wonder if we should have a "See also" or "Main" template linking to Elizabeth Holmes#Criminal charges. GA-RT-22 (talk) 13:47, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Henry Kissinger
[edit]Is there a reason Henry Kissinger isn't listed on the Board? In May 2016 he was still on. He was not removed until December of that year. The article cited does not claim to be a complete list of board members.KaturianKaturian 14:56, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
- You mean in the infobox? It shouldn't list individual board members at all. It didn't use to, then someone added George Shultz (thinking "he's important") then someone else piled on and added Robertson. Those should both be removed, not added to. GA-RT-22 (talk) 17:39, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
