Hi all,

I have wondered about the notability of this article for some time. Full disclosure, I have the same last name as this person but I am not related to him (I think...). I found about him while googling myself.

Regarding notability, Britanica talks about him [1], there is a memorial to him [2], and four articles in Wikipedia already mentioned him [3].

Theophile Bruguier is a notable figure in the European settlement of the upper Missouri valley during the mid-19th century. I have expanded the biography based largely upon documentation from http://www.siouxcityhistory.org. Jerry picker (talk) 22:28, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
