Lead
[edit]- "The EP experiments ..." - "It experiments ..." to avoid repetition
- "Then I'll Be Happy was promoted with two singles and the Then I'll Be Happy Tour across North America" - "Then I'll Be Happy was promoted with two singles—"Cloak n Dagger" and "Fuck This Town—and the Then I'll Be Happy Tour across North America"
- "It received mixed reviews from critics, citing the lack of chemistry ..." - "It received mixed reviews from music critics, who cited the lack of chemistry ..."
Background and recording
[edit]- "and Sophie Leigh Walker of The Line of Best Fit called Ericdoa ..." - "and Sophie Leigh Walker of The Line of Best Fit considered Ericdoa ..." to avoid repetition
- "The lead single "Cloak n Dagger" was recorded ..." - "The lead single, "Cloak n Dagger", was recorded ..."
Composition
[edit]- "dreamy synths" - I think "dreamy synthesizers" is okay, also as per WP:NOTBROKEN
- "While Glaive typically prefers ..." - I think this should be attributed to Leor Galil, something like "According to Chicago Reader's Leor Galil, Glaive typically prefers ..."
- "according to Sundaresan" / "according to Polo" - comma before "according to"?
- "a track which showcases" - "a track" can probably be removed here
- "The following "Mental Anguish" sees the duo harmonizing the song's title during its hook, which was compared to moments from Ericdoa's album COA (2020)" - "The following song, "Mental Anguish", sees the duo harmonizing its title during the hook, which was compared by Sundaresan to moments from Ericdoa's album COA (2020)"
- "Sundaresan described the final track "Fuck This Town" as containing "darker ..." - "Sundaresan thought that the final track, "Fuck This Town", contains "darker ..."
- Would be cool if we can include a production subsection that talks about who wrote/produced/worked on the album
- Do you think you could give me an example? I don't want to add a section that is just repeating what Personnel says.
- My apologies, never mind, you're actually right. I think it isn't really a common practice at albums/EPs articles to include personnel information in prose, even though it's common in songs articles. So that should be okay.
- Do you think you could give me an example? I don't want to add a section that is just repeating what Personnel says.
Release and reception
[edit]- "Then I'll Be Happy's lead single "Cloak n Dagger" was released alongside ..." - "Then I'll Be Happy's lead single, "Cloak n Dagger", was released alongside ..."
- I think we can remove the publications' names from the critical reception section and just leave the critic's names since they were previously mentioned in the article
Personnel and references
[edit]- Do we have any updates for the personnel other than the two singles? I see more credits for the remaining tracks while clicking on the info button here, it also has credits for the songwriting which you can also include
- Tidal gave me all the information listed; sadly they only gave recording and mastering for the last two tracks. Prash Mistry mixed the whole thing which I included in there, and same with Glaive and Ericdoa's contributions to vocals. The link you gave me used the same credits as Tidal did. I added both songwriting and producer credits in Personnel, and they are also in the Track listing section. I also added a guitar and programming credit that I missed the first time around.
- Can you help me confirm the reliability of Ones to Watch?
- It is considered unreliable because of it being owned by Live Nation (added it before I knew this). I removed this source and replaced it with one I somehow missed, this review from RapReviews, which is a reliable source according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources. They describe the track "Heather", which is pretty much the only reason I included OTW in the first place.
- I'll let the Twitter source pass since I couldn't find any other reliable source to replace it, and the user is confirmed to be Glaive
- I don't think the sources used for the two singles satisfy the WP:SINGLE? criteria. I suggest using this source and this source instead of ref 7(c) at the release section, and adding the second one (Pitchfork) after ref 11 to back it up. That's probably the best we could do
I think that's all, everything else looks good to me. @Locust member: I will put this On hold for now! Medxvo (talk) 10:30, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking this on, good to see you again! Did almost everything except one thing as I need more clarity on what to do.
- Also, I added "homestay" after the mentions of the Airbnb, as I feel it is more correct. Since Airbnb is a company, saying they stayed at the company is a bit confusing (though I know it is common language to just say Airbnb), I just added "homestay" for encyclopedic purposes. I hope that is fine. Locust member (talk) 15:06, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- This looks good and definitely an improvement. @Locust member: Thanks for addressing everything. I'll ✓ Pass the article now, congratulations!! Looking forward to reviewing more of your GANs soon, hopefully :)) Medxvo (talk) 15:45, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
