Merge proposal

[edit]

I propose merging Theft by finding in the United States into Theft by finding. The content in Theft by finding in the United States can easily be explained in the context of Theft_by_finding#United_States, and a merge would not cause any article-size or weighting problems.Mooonswimmer 00:05, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am in agreement that Theft by finding in the United States is largely short and tis will make both articles better. Jorahm (talk) 17:05, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I also agree, both articles are small and it's beneficial to have them in one place especially when the content is overlapping. Will try to do the merge now. PARAKANYAA (talk) 03:11, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am the original author. The merge has created a dislocation. The section which refers to Professor Tay's collection of cases appears to be a part of the law of the United States when they are from English case law. I will review and edit shortly.
