A fact from Theater des Westens appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 17 February 2012 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I believe that the theatre was at one time refered to as the Volksoper Berlin in German, and that many English language references refer to the theatre as the Berlin Volksoper. There are a number of english language wikipedia articles which refer to the Berlin Volksoper so this might be both a good thing to mention in the article and a good redirect to make.4meter4 (talk) 15:52, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
