Genealogical research
[edit]On FreeBMD, it gives her birth as being registered in Birmingham in the June quarter of 1918, her mother's maiden name being Arnold. There's no other records for her on FreeBMD.
On Ancestry, it shows her in 1939 living with her parents in London. She was working in the Civil Service as a short typist and her birthday is given as 4 June 1918.
Both the England & Wales, Civil Registration Death Index, 1916-2007 and the England and Wales, Death Index, 1989-2019 say that she died in Bromley on 1 September 2001 with her last residence in Beckenham. She appears to have never married and is listed as Dorothea Hindmarch. Skycloud86 (talk) 21:59, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
