Merger proposal

This video game is based on the television series, The Young Ones. Expansion and other improvements are needed if the video game article needs to be kept. Otherwise, merger is needed as I am proposing here. --George Ho (talk) 17:45, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

I disagree - as you can see from the Young Ones' template at the bottom of the article, each of the TV episodes has its own dedicated article. This video game does not fit into the scope of any of the television series articles, because it is a video game, a different thing, and it's better for the more detailed information about the game to have a separate page, instead of cluttering up the television series page with this more detailed information. Right now, we don't have an official guideline of writing about video games, and the Project's "guideline" is not official. Detailed or not, size matters. Even though MOS:TV does not say anything about derivatives specifically, any television article could include all merchandises, like this video game. --George Ho (talk) 02:55, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
Oppose - generally as per Til, but my own tuppence: The Young Ones article is clearly different to the video game article. I agree that the video game article is not of great quality, but that's nothing that an evening of boredom won't fix. And I have plenty of those. Chaheel Riens (talk) 07:32, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Impossible to finish due to bugs?

In the game's section on the main Young Ones page, there's an un-cited claim that it can't be finished due to bugs in the code. I'm sure I've heard about this from a reputable source before, and it's a fairly plausible claim for a game of its time. (Jet Set Willy's attic bug, anyone?) Can anyone confirm if this is actually the case?

As per "fridge door bug letter" the game could be impossible to complete, but only if you follow certain specific steps. In general gameplay it's quite an easy game, provided you avoid the kitchen as described. Chaheel Riens (talk) 07:07, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
