"The Voice" has published nine books, including a complete edition of the New Testament available at major booksellers, and incorporates the work of dozens of writers, biblical scholars, musicians and editors. It also distinguishes itself from similar projects in that it approaches the Bible from an artistic viewpoint. With all this in mind, I feel that The Voice has sufficient merit for inclusion into Wikipedia. KBurchfiel (talk) 19:35, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, it lacks WP:RS coverage to meet the WP:CORP criteria. — 72.75.108.10 (talk) 00:24, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see your point, but the project's first major work came out just two months ago. It may take some time for media coverage to develop. At the very least, if you perform an internet search on the group, you'll find that they have an active following in the (admittedly unreliable) blogging industry. As JClemens said on the history page, this is a group trying to complete an entirely new translation of the Bible--and whose work has been published by Thomas Nelson, no small publisher in themselves. That's why I consider them "worthy of notice," as the WP:CORP guidelines state, and why I felt it necessary to create an article. KBurchfiel (talk) 01:18, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then the article should be recreated when it meets the criteria. It currently does not and Wikipedia should not be used as a crystal ball. 24.6.151.226 (talk) 03:42, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
