Removal of stuff
[edit]I've deleted the bit about "Respect" as there's no available proof that Aretha's version hit their sales. It had already been a hit and become a standard with Otis Redding's version in late '65 - but the original text here kinda reads that The Vagrants version was the first as a single and Aretha's swamped them. Still a great track though ... Onwards! Brieflysentient (talk) 16:56, 5 August 2011 (UTC) Oh, yeah. I've also removed the bittery stuff about Leslie West, which kinda insinuates he was responsible for the Vagrants doing nothing else. There's actually a big gap between them not making it and him getting big with Mountain (no pun intended). We've got the 'Mississippi Queesn' era bit at least. And I removed the list of Mountain songs that may be well known but weren't 'hits' as such, they're irrelevant to The Vagrants. Apologies I can't update this and tighten it further. I'm just dipping in to improve what I know and have refs for ina Wiki stylee. There's plenty of stuff about Sabatino's later work with the revival, someone else can step up and tweak, because this page is nearly a decade out of date ...
