This article has been tagged with a "This article lacks information on the importance of the subject matter". When I looked at the other articles similarly tagged I was pretty disgusted that this article could be lumped in with them (many of which appear to be of little or no worth). There is not much much else that can be written about The Two Poor Boys. They were a pre-WWII folk-blues duo, of which a handful of recordings survive. Very little is known about them beyond the evidence of the recordings; for example, it is not known whether they were white or black. Wikipedia needs to determine specific criteria for these particular areas of knowledge. To me The Two Poor Boys have surviving recordings so therefore they are worthy of an article. To someone interested in pre-WWII blues/folk/country music this could potentially be of interest. Just because not much is known about them shouldn't disqualify them from being the subject of an article. If the powers-that-be decide to delete this article I would be interested in being informed of the justification for such action. Ikeshut03:23, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
