Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted.

Why? Aside from being a stunning band with a strong cult following, they're mentioned by Allmusic, Amazon.com, Stylus Magazine, Pitchfork Media... the list goes one. While I cannot seem to locate the exact guidelines for what warrants musical "significance", surely Googling the band's name should give you all that is needed? --Powelldinho (talk) 16:04, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would strongly urge you to add that information (with citations!) to the article before some other admin deletes this. That stuff establishing the significance of the subject must be in the article before it can establish notability, not on the talk page!ausa کui × 00:05, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Research

[edit]

Added 2 photos of the band. Also linked from our "Art in America (band) Wikipedia page, since the a founding mbr of this musical group, was also a founding of our group "Art in America". Both culturally significant. Crootnik talk 15:24, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

added some much needed citations and References section, will continue to add more. Crootnik talk 22:48, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
