Here are some online, third-party sources regarding The Times-Sentinel. I don't have third party sources for the entire history of the newspaper - yet - but I will note that, though it has been in its current form only since 1993, it is the result of the merging of three older papers. The oldest of these is the Cheney Sentinel, which has been published continuously for more than 110 years.
I know that there are several published books - histories of Sedgwick County and its towns - that rely heavily on The Times-Sentinel and its ancestor papers as sources and also touch on its history. I intend to find and cite these books as I eventually expand and improve the article. My understanding of the purpose of a "stub" is that part of its purpose is to alert others that I am working on an article, so that they can also contribute if they wish to do so.
