Could someone who knows more about Checkhov than I do have a look at this article, as it seems to contain some misunderstandings. For instance, the subject is not 'terrorism' as stated; indeed the protagonist's politics become increasingly irrelevant as the story unfolds (see Jack Coulehan http://medhum.med.nyu.edu/view/12091). I like the article's enthusiasm for this wonderful example of Checkov's work but I'm not sure if it's a clear description. BobBadg (talk) 09:40, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
