Untitled
[edit]- In Jesus vs. Frosty: The boy resembling Cartman (and called "Kenny") gets grabbed by one of Frosty's tentacles and slammed into the ground. The boy resembling Kenny gets grabbed by the throat by Santa (actually the snowman in disguise) then tossed to the ground and is decapitated. A small dog or fox nibbles at "Kenny"/Cartman at the very end of the film. During Cartman/Kenny's death, the other two boys make their famous "they killed Kenny!" cry; for Kenny/Kenny's death they merely comment that that probably wasn't the real Santa after all.
This is a tad too confusing, don't you think? - furrykef (Talk at me) 06:16, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Tiger Woods recall
[edit]for the life of me i can't remember what year it was, but a release of one of Electronic Arts' Tiger Woods golf games was recalled due to an MPEG of "Spirit of Christmas" being hidden in both the PlayStation and PC versions. ----Stickmangrit 16:27, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Butters
[edit]One of the kids in the 1992 version looked a lot like Butters to me. What do you think? Jerkov 17:42, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think that all generic characters look relatively the same. Butters didn't exist then, and when they made Butters they modified a generic template. Professor Chaos (talk) 04:59, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
If this is all the authors knew about the term "The Spirit of Christmas" ...
[edit]... then this is very sad. I would have expected some other infos. Isn't there some very very popular book that is all around "The Spirit of Christmas"? Greetings
- There should probably be a disambiguation page. Jerkov 17:01, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Pictures?
[edit]Shouldn't there be two pictures for each short? I mean, the animation in each short is very different from the series and from each other, so I think it would be very informative for a couple of screenshots to be on the page. Simpson, Bart 22:14, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Dubious
[edit]I doubt the 1995 short contains a statue of character from a movie released in 1997 (or 1998, the article is contradictory). --193.11.177.2 (talk) 00:01, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- I just looked and that is Orgazmo. Eeekster (talk) 00:10, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- Seems possible, since it also contained characters from a series not active until 1997 and jokes not used again until they made the movie. - Denimadept (talk) 14:46, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- It's unclear, but the base of the statue appears to read "Erection Man", although the character is dressed similarly to Orgazmo. Possibly this is another idea that they had long ago and then revived when they were asked to come up with movie ideas. I suggest the wording change to something like "a character similar to Orgazmo". Flipzagging (talk) 09:25, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Please Consider Adding Link to Video
[edit]I tried to add a link to the actual video of this on YouTube, but the BOT reverted it.
If someone wants to add this useful link to the article in such a way that the BOT will not revert it, please feel free to do so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WZV8wA3wUQ
I also fixed a BROKEN external link that the BOT reverted too (that BOT does not seem to be very smart -- I even made each change in separate Edits, so the BOT should have only reverted that one Edit instead of ALL of my Edits). I did an undo of the BOT's changes to bring it back again since BROKEN LINKS are bad. Hopefully the BOT will not revert it again.
If the BOT does revert the external link to the "South Park Studios: Creator Bios" so that it is broken again, the proper link is: http://www.southparkstudios.com/fans/behind/creator.php

A Very Crappy Christmas
[edit]I think it's odd that no one has mentioned "A Very Crappy Christmas" in season 4. The entire episode is about "The Spirit of Christmas". The boys have to make an animated christmas card called the spirit of christmas and the episode has some clips of the actually video.

Wendy?
[edit]Well, in the 1992. version Wendy, was thrown by Santa, then in a deleted scene, Stan comed to help her! Maybe, if they have an explanation for this?

- If you find this documented anywhere, please add it. That requires a proper citation, nothing from a blog. - Denimadept (talk) 17:36, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
