Wrong company infos ![edit]

Maxis is dead since they are in EA, since 2007 the Maxis logo was removed from The Sims franchise ! It's no longer Maxis but it's EA Games only.

Wrong game info![edit]

Tropic Terror doesn't refer at all to The Sims: Castaway Stories. It may refer to another Sims-based island game coming out by EA, but it's definitely not The Sims: Castaway Stories. You don't cite a source on that. Try googling "Tropic Terror" and "Sims Castaway Stories" together... turns up nothing.

You must've gotten this game confused with The Sims Life Stories. Pet Stories will be released in a few weeks, and Castaway Stories is expected for release in early January-February of 2008. Sillygostly 21:13, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Surely that makes it 1st quarter 2008, not Winter 2008. Winter 2008 would imply November/December.

No I just checked the site it clearly says winter 08 not 07. We don't know if it comes out in Jan.-Feb. or in Nov.-Dec. so we can't put that it comes out in Jan-Feb. Smileyface 12 91 21:16, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wii?[edit]

I read on the list of wii games page that this will be relased on wii? Any info avaliable? I have the same question and I think it is going to be released for the Wii because on Wal-mart.com it says the sims 2 castaway for Wii. YAY!

Stop the confusion![edit]

Okay, there seems to be A LOT of confusion around this game, so let me clear a few things up:

  • This is a Standalone game for the PC
  • this is the third in the Sims Stories series of games, following Life Stories and Pet Stories
  • EA recently published a game called The Sims 2: Castaway on several console platforms This is a different game, entirely.
