Question about Song

[edit]

Who exactly sings "The Simpsons!" in the theme song?--Jmg124 (talk) 15:29, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Most annoying

[edit]

Didn't some magazine call give the theme an award for "Most annoying theme song ever"? I've been looking for a source, but thus far I've been unsuccessful. -- Scorpion0422 18:15, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking for that last night, but like you, no luck. Gran2 18:23, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

no that is a lie. it was time said it was the most over-rated themesong.

Well I knew it was something along those lines. Do you have a source that could be used? -- Scorpion0422 21:47, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup - additional suggestions

[edit]

In addition to the cleanup I've done which I think organizes the article better and cuts out information that is trivial, I'd like to delete the 2nd lead paragraph about the augmented fourth, which a) seems trivial and b) notes that this is "often cited in articles", and provides only one article, which I don't think is really that prominant a feature of the theme, and I'd like to see more articles to prove that this is "often cited". Otherwise, I'd like to delete the paragraph(/sentence) TheHYPO 08:05, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like your changes, but I still object to the use of the word cover. Can we simply call them "other versions" instead as a compromise? And, if you want to remove that paragraph, you can go ahead. I'm not sure how it got there anyway. -- Scorpion0422 14:00, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SimpsonsGreenDay.jpg

[edit]

Image:SimpsonsGreenDay.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Simpsons Theme Song

[edit]

Isn't it called the Simpsons Theme Song? If you on Limewire to search for it, you have to type Simpsons Theme Song. If you don't type in song, it won't come. Warrior4321talkContribs 17:05, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think limewire really hacks it as a source. Uksam88 (talk) 16:44, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
