Talk:The Sextuple

With all due respect, I cannot agree with the argument that the Sextuple is not a well enough known neologism, and thus this article should be deleted.

The Triple, Quadruple and Quintuple are recognized concepts in world soccer, and arguably FC Barcelona broke ground by achieving something that had never been achieved before: the Sextuple.

Whether other clubs achieve something similar in the future is immaterial: the concept of the Sextuple now exists, and other teams can aspire to it.

The example of the Secondary confederation club competition should be changed as it is impossible for a team to win both the Champions League and the Eurpoa League in the same season. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.46.210 (talk) 19:50, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Those terms are common concepts in Football, so this article should not be deleted. What surprises me, is that someone thinks is not notable enough to have an article about it, but, some one though that it is notable enough to put a link to this article link from the Main Page. 161.165.196.84 (talk) 20:59, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
