POV
[edit]This article reads like an investigative report into how the property values of this community were affected by the Martin case. Needless to say, other things have happened in this community besides that single event. This article is a self fulfilling prophecy that unduly harms the image of the community by focusing around the crime that happened there, and too little about the community itself. -- GreenC 20:52, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
Agreed, but unfortunately the Martin/Zimmerman case is likely the only reason this neighborhood has a page to begin with. That said I added some information to the History section since it was bloated with a lot of marketing fluff. SuburbanEconomist (talk) 02:03, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Biased/reads like one side of a story
[edit]It's totally appropriate the address the killing of Trayvon Martin. But this article treats the Retreat at Twin Lakes like it should be recognized as the scene of the crime. Try putting all the info about George Zimmerman and Martin in another chapter, residents deserve to read about their neighborhood without it being completely about a gruesome incident that also happened there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Awkccyla (talk • contribs) 18:32, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
