"best known" s one thing, but "most beloved" is highly subjetive. And beloved by whom, by the Polish? Wikipedia is written from an international perspective, so that should clarified.

"(see battle of Monte Cassino)" is poor internal linking, we should not adress the reader. Try to mention the battle in the text, and link it there.

If the song was banned, then detail when the ban was removed.
- While I cannot find any source for it, such bans ended with the fall of communism. Potentially more could be found in Poezja odzyskana: antologia poezji polskiej 1939-1989. Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne. 1992. p. 12. ISBN 978-83-02-04725-1. Include as well some modern info about it: is it played in some specific circumstances? is there some custom related to the play? (for example, when the national hymn of the US is played people take the hand to the hearth)

I've made a Copyright section out of the last two sentences and expanded them from the Polish article. I can't believe (or maybe I can!) that the Poles had to pay royalties to Germany when they wanted to use the song! Moonraker12 (talk) 23:58, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
