[edit]Their sound was "hard to quantify", eh? I was thinking a 6.2 or thereabouts. The (fixable) problems with that paragraph are its non-encyclopedic tone and poor grammar (e.g., "has been considered as quite poppy"), I reckon. Sure, I could fix it, but I might screw up the facts. 128.135.6.3 08:17, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Throwing Muses-The Real Ramona (album cover).jpg
[edit]Image:Throwing Muses-The Real Ramona (album cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]Tanya Donnely recorded with The Breeders on their 1990 album The Pod when she was still a member of Throwing Muses. The passage mentions that Donnely kept her sound when she "moved to Belly and later the Breeders." She did not record with the Breeders after this album, so she does not appear on the Breeders subsequent albums. It would be more accurate to state that she kept this sound with the band Belly and on her later solo albums.Amancalledj (talk) 19:22, 10 July 2008 (UTC)amancalledj
This album already feels like a renewing of the band. (Although when Bernard joined it was another renewal.) One of the THREE heavyweights, Leslie Langston and her powerful rhythmic bass had already left. That's if Tanya was a heayweight? Kristin usually limited her to two songs per album. When she left for Belly she had a stockpile of TM songs which emerged as Belly song, from what I am aware. Middle More Rider (talk) 12:21, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
