The whole story was a dream. At the very beginning of the movie, Futaro says "I had a dream" and later "which turned into a total nightmare!". Later, at the end, the quints are apparently arguing about where to hold the honeymoon. Futaro, awakens and dscovers that they have in reality been arguing about where to hold their graduation party. Yotsuba is once again wearing her trademark green bandana which she had discarded in the wedding dream as no longer needing. When Futaro asks them about the wedding they react with alarm and say "Wedding??? Aren't you rushing things a bit?", revealing the whole thing to have been a dream. There never was a wedding. - What is the procedure for re-using existing portions of the text? For example my corrections would be applied to the very beginning and end of the ==Plot== section, but the exising text between those corrections is fine and can remain the same. Do I simply
- ==Plot==
- (add my first correction)
- (insert existing text)
- (add my second correction)
- Also, does this change need to be referenced? It's simply a completed description of the movie as seen on the Blu-Ray, the original existing description of which was not referenced. Big Al Mintaka (talk) 18:54, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
- @AlanMintaka: Writing a plot does not need a reference, as long as it is on your own words to avoid copyright. However, I would like to call you out that saying the wedding did not happen is already incorrect because it happened. I hope we watched the same movie. Centcom08 (talk) 19:23, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
- Well, the movie starts with Futaro saying "I had a dream" and ends with him waking from a nap to find that the girls have been arguing about where to have their graduation party, not where to hold the honeymoon. Also, when Futaro mentions the wedding, they all react with "Wedding?? Isn't that pushing things a bit?" Finally, Yotsuba is once again wearing her trademark green bandanna, which she had abandoned in the dream as "no longer needing." It was all a dream. Big Al Mintaka (talk) 17:39, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Does this mean that I would have to reference the existing plot, since I will be including it between my start and end corrections? After all, the existing plot is not written by me. It just needs the beginning and ending corrections. Or is there some sort of {begin existing text}{end existing text} markers that I could use? Big Al Mintaka (talk) 19:08, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- @AlanMintaka: I do not know where you are getting this info about the marriage being fake. I do not see any reliable reviewers/sources nor the author saying that the marriage is fake and all just in MC's head. Centcom08 (talk) 00:10, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- I am getting it from the movie, wherein Futaro announces at the beginning that "I had a dream", and slightly later, "which turned into a total nightnmare!". Then at the end he is awakened from a nap to find that the girls have been arguing about where to hold their graduation party, not the honeymoon. When he mentions the wedding they recoil and say "Wedding? Aren't you rushing things a bit?" I wonder if we watched the same movie. Big Al Mintaka (talk) 16:25, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
