Article adapted
[edit]This article has been changed - from an article about the street to an article about the venue complex. The original article has been moved to The Pleasance (street).
The reasons for doing this are:
- Most wikilinks will refer to the venue, rather than the street itself
- There is much more to be said about the venue than there is about the rest of the street
- Disambiguation in general
To further disambiguate, I propose to create the following articles:
- The Pleasance (street), a street in Edinburgh
- The Pleasance, i.e this article, a venue complex in Edinburgh (with a redirect from Pleasance Edinburgh)
- Pleasance Theatre Trust, the operator of The Pleasance venues
- Pleasance Islington, a theatre in London

- I came here looking for the street. I think this should be about the street, and the venues could be under one separate article. It seems a rather narrow, arts-focused move to change an article to focus on one building on the street. -Ysarat (talk) 11:55, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
