Crowdsourcing

The Papers of Abraham Lincoln appear to have resurrected their crowdsourcing experiment. I wish we had more detail on this, but this State Journal-Register article from 2012-07-11 claims that volunteers are transcribing letters written to Lincoln on-site at the Lincoln Presidential Library. Compare that with the editor's comments in this NYTimes article of 2010-12-28 that the project had experimented with volunteer transcribers and then abandon them.
