Deletion?

[edit]

I'm kind of surprised that this got tagged for deletion around 30 seconds after I made the article. First off, I don't see how anyone could make a judgment in that time. Second off, this article is a lot more developed than most other short story articles here, and as it covers an important work for the author and a popular work, I don't see how it's not valid. It doesn't show notability per WP:BK. I started an AFD for it because you contested the prod. Schuym1 (talk) 18:08, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why isn't this notable? It's a major novella by Stephen King that later was incorporated into the first volume of his Dark Tower series. An author such as King should have an article for each of his short work, in my humblest of opinions. Jmj713 (talk) 18:12, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And as both myself and Jmj713 pointed out, if you had actually done any research whatsoever rather than just sticking a prod on it ignorantly, you would have seen that it does pass WP:BK. Kuralyov (talk) 18:14, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
