This movie is fiction!!!!! Stop saying things that make it sound real!!!!!--Jeffhardywhyx 01:33, 14 February 2007 (UTC) This movie is based on a true story. Nat Wolff 01:59, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

The summary

okay, The NBB is a band who plays real music, and are not-so-much real people, in fake plots of each episode! 130.13.98.191 19:18, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Grammar problems

dont edit this article of you are unsure of the topic. If you don't know something as simple as how their last name is pronounced. And who added "I Indeed"? It's "I Can See". Wolff not Wolf!!!--Jeffhardywhyx 20:38, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Several Articles + edits

I believe that 2 articles, movie and TV show, are necessary. As far as I know, they haven't publically released any albums, so they are basically a TV band. As far as edits go, thanks to Captain Infinity for fixing Allie DiMeco's age (22 what?), though her name was still displayed as "DiMico" before my edit. Still, this page needs a lot more work. Bkid 06:09, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Is there proof that they lip sync and that they are a fake band? 70.170.93.169 01:23, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Well first, I never used the words "fake band". Second, I never said they lip synced. I'm not really sure where you're seeing this. They don't have any albums released. They just play a band in a MOVIE (and upcoming TV series). I mean, Rosalina isn't even the girl's real name (as stated in the article). Until they release an album and/or tour for real (not in a movie..), then I wouldn't bother making an article for them as a 'band'. Bkid 06:17, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Actually Nickelodeon is going to release an MP3 player with all of their songs on it. I might actually win one, and they have if I am correct over 500 songs on it. I got my information from a commercial during the Naked Brothers Band movie premier. From Zach111493 my talkmy contributions 23:00, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Permission to unprotect

This artice needs some serious work, it also needs expanding. If someone can ask for permission to unprotect this, that would be great. I am not a user, just a frequent visitor. Since the movie had its advance screening already, there could also be a summary about the movie. Also, if there are going to be sections for the movie and tv series, they should be seperate artices merged together. Not meaning to do this now, since we will probably have to wait until some episodes come out. And as a user said earlier, we can't really call them a band since they have no CD's out now. Please do this so we can fix it in whatever ways possible. 70.170.93.169 06:53, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

The reason the ages are wrong is because they are taken from the movie which was created 2 years ago, but is premiering right now in 2007.

Kind of Movie

In my opinion, this is more of a fictional autobiography. Mainly because Rosalina isn't an actual person, its played by another girl. and because the dad isn't really a failed acrodion musician, he has a band (look him up). i don't really see why this is a drama, i don't see the drama in it. 70.170.93.169 01:02, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

TV Series? Movie? Taken Care Of

Okay. The movie is obviously an article on its own. However, recent popularity from the announcement of the TV series has led to a huge mess with whether or not this is a "Film" article or a "TV Series" article.

I've just added "(TV Series)" to the title of this article and created another article that says "(Film)" instead.

These articles are currently very similar, so please help towards adding to each of these articles.

Thanks.FIRST801 00:33, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Rosalina

So, Rosalina is not really the actress that plays Rosalina's real name, so, Should we put the actresses real name on? 130.13.102.173 00:02, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Allie's full name is Alyson Rosalina DiMeco. So technically they are using her real name. Robert25 05:32, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

It's not Alyson. It's Alexander (isn't that a boy's name?) 130.13.98.191 19:03, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

More info!

We need to put more stuff in here! It's just wrong!- 71.144.71.158 03:03, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

how real is this

So how real is this show. Is it mostly true with stuff added for humor or is it almost completely fictional? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.69.189.245 (talk) 20:49, 6 February 2007 (UTC).

It has barley any true stuff. The only real thing about it is that they are a band. They aren't famous or anything.--Jeffhardywhyx 20:50, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Where's the Edit button?

I don't mean to be a grammar freak, but the TV Series page is really poorly done. There also is a lot of important stuff left out of each episode summary. 70.252.99.198 23:31, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

The reason the edit button is missing and a view source button is there instead is that the page is protected. From Zach111493 my talkmy contributions 01:42, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

This page is protected against vandalism because of the large hate of the show. --71.126.138.253 05:03, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

characters

Although Nat and Alex already link to something, i think that special pages should be made for each character and that the pages about Nat and Alex should not link to the real them but should explain them on the actual show. And anyways, were is the part of them being the worst band in history? From Zach111493 my talkmy contributions 01:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

episodes

Also, can we make a page special for the episodes just like in the avatar page From Zach111493 my talkmy contributions 01:48, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

I moved the episode page, so that it is a section in the article. Aznime 19:08, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Aznime

MOvie

I really think that a basic story line of the movie should be made. From Zach111493 my talkmy contributions 03:02, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

????

Is this even a real band that happens to have a TV show based on them, or are they only a fake band with some member/actors that happen to be songwriters? If the former is true, there should be an article on the band itself. Ninetywazup?Review meMy ToDo 23:42, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

WTF?

Obviously this is a fake band, with fake music and a fake show. It's basically just a poor attempt by Nickelodeon to try to connect with stupid 8 year olds who don't know the difference between a bass and a bassoon by using whiny brats who don't play instruments to pretend to be a rock band. I am requesting deletion on both pages because they offer no information and don't belong on wikipedia. In response to Nineteenninetyfour's question, they are neither. Gizwidget 02:52, 12 February 2007 (UTC) User_talk:Gizwidget they should remove the rock and roll icon and put kids band insted 24.176.173.43 04:00, 8 April 2007 (UTC) True I find it really dumb they say that kind of stuff when it's not true.Themasterofwiki 18:40, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Actually, It's a realistic-fake band in a fake plot. Just like Hannah Montanah. at first, she was a singer only in the television screen. Then, she had her first concert. 130.13.98.191 19:06, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

real or fake

is the band real or they fake--Falcon866 02:28, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Fake, it's a tv show. --71.126.146.7 23:15, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Obviously fake.

These are all a bunch of snotty, stuck-up kids who think they're great because they can lip-sync songs that some songwriter wrote and some street band was paid to perform. I mean, who's ever heard of a little 4-year-old shrimp writing music? Even his beloved role model and renowned singer John Lennon didn't start really playing music until his skiffle band, the Quarry Men, in which he was at least fifteen. In fact, I bet each and every one of those snotty, stuck-up kids is sitting there, vainly reading and rereading their respective articles in an effort to please themselves. In case any of you mock singers are out there, please - do us a favor. Go die. Your lip-syncing is a sight not even fit for criminals, and your choice in music is worse.

What's more, whoever added on the similarities to the Beatles, TAKE THEM OFF. These don't apply, and this disgraceful group is ruining the Beatles' magnificent legacy. For instance, the Beatles were never called "The Silver Beetles," that was the name for Lennon's skiffle band, the Quarry Men. This pathetic excuse for a band / film doesn't deserve to be even associated with the amazing band that was the Beatles.

So, to summarize: They're a bunch of little kids who can't do more than look pretty in front of a camera, and I bet even that doesn't come naturally to them. And take that cursed similarities section off, or I will!

Elfred, Wiki's talk pages are for discussing edits to the article, not your personal views and opinions. Please refrain from attacking others in your posts, and please use the talk page according to the guidelines posted above. Thanks, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:15, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
No, talk pages are for just that: talking. Hence the name. I'm staying on topic (I'm talking about the crappy article, am I not?), so there's no problem. End of discussion. Elfred 16:36, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Just a reminder (from the talk page header) to all to keep the talk page on topic:
This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the The Naked Brothers Band article. This is not a forum for general discussion about the article's subject. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:21, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Eh? I'm staying on topic. My suggestion to make the article better is to DELETE IT. Elfred 01:20, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, I can't say we disagree on that score, but these folk and topics do appear to meet notability, so we'll have to live with it, methinks. These articles do seem to require an extreme amount of babysitting. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 01:22, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, if we can't delete it, can we at least include a part about how it is widely disliked? Elfred 22:25, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Elfred is completely right. These kids appear on television, thinking that they're great actors. Well I must set it straight. I"m sorry to those people who actually appreciate this band, but they stink. The singing is blood-curling, the acting is horrible, however, the music is actually pretty good. And those who are going to say, it's not acting, it's a documentary, stop. It's not a documentary. It's acting! The end result is that bad! I hope everyone agrees! Also, you can tell from their episodes that they're lip-syncing. Nat's lips are mouthing the lyrics 5 seconds after it comes on the music! Good Heaven people, if you can't see that, go get your eyes checked! And if you think they can sing and act, go get your head checked! Meldshal42 19:08, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm glad someone can see the truth. What's the point in having a lip-syncing band if they can't lip-sync relatively well, I ask you? And you're right. It's not a documentary! But it's not acting either! It's terrible acting! Personally, I don't think child actors should exist. I've yet to see the child who could act relatively well. Elfred 22:25, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
This isn't what this talk page is used for, i.e. criticizing the show, their actors or anything of the like. This talk page is for discussion on how to improve this article and make it better, not this. — Moe 21:46, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

TV show

It's just a TV show I mean you don't have to get so mad about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.190.223.163 (talkcontribs) 22:41, March 11, 2007 [1]

1) Please sign your comments.
2) Yes, I do have to get so mad about it. It's obvious, as I stated before, that they're just doing lip-sync, and no one deserves to be put on TV 'cos they can lip-sync.
Also, the songs they lip-sync to suck and it disgraces the Beatles to put that in the main article. Elfred 23:36, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Elfred is correct once again! The person above, 70.190.223.163 22:41, please don't leave any more comments! He should get that mad over it, seeing as Nickelodeon selected them. I really don't understand why they picked them! Meldshal42 19:13, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

THANK YOU! At least there's some sanity on this bleak wasteland we call Earth. Elfred 22:21, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Nat

I don't get why the episodes are always about Nat I mean can't they make an episode about David or something, I mean the episode has Nat's name in it. Nat is a Stand Up Guy. And that episode isn't that good either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.190.223.163 (talkcontribs) 03:38, March 12, 2007 [2]

Wow...it's almost like it matters...as I said above, the show sucks and so who cares about it? Elfred 20:45, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Elferd, first of all; if you don't like it then do not contribute to the article. It's a show targeted at children do you realize how ridiculous you sound complaining about it? How old are you 14? Second, Wikipedia allows people to post anonymously so stop demanding that posts be signed. If your comments do not stop you will be reported and your posts removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.63.203.32 (talkcontribs) 05:33, March 31, 2007 [4]

One: Spell my name right. Two: What's the point in posting if you won't post anonymously? Three: I'll bloody complain as much as I bloody want, and nothing you can say or do will change that. Mind your own business, bub, and no-one gets hurt. Elfred 23:52, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Calm down, folks. And please sign your posts, even if you post anonymously, by entering four tildes ~~~~ after your entry; see Wikipedia:Signatures. Thank you. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 23:56, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Well, at least there's still some rhyme and reason here in Wikipedia...Elfred 18:28, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Seriously Elfred, your taking everything a little too seriously. Yes, we can do something about it and it is called our policies. I remind you of our Civilty policy here which will make you re-think your actions. No matter what your personal opinion is of the show, it doesn't matter and you should keep it to yourself for the most part unless it's to help this site and making them in an incivil manner won't make your case stronger. Making threats don't help neither. And if any of that doesn't work, we can always try the blocking policy. — Moe 14:56, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

One: You might want to check up on your grammar. And two: Making threats doesn't help? Wow, look who's talking. Elfred 22:20, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Why would anybody like Nat, he is ugly and roselina or whatever should get another guy. I want to beat the shit out of Nat and his brother or family for destroying my eyes when I saw them.
