Marriott ExecuStay
[edit]While updating the article to clarify ownership makes sense, units are still listed for rental under Marriott's ExecuStay brand, so the deletion of that section seems unfair.
Clarification
[edit]There are 440 units in the Executive Plaza Condominium residential portion of the building, each individually owned, which means 440 potential tenants--either owner occupied or rented by their owners. Marriott only rents certain units (a relatively small number) from unit owners directly. Those units, in turn, are placed into the Execustay program for renting to Marriott clients. The text in the Wiki description for the old Taft building (now the Michelangelo), in discussing the Executive Plaza Condominium portion of the building, explicitly said unoccupied units are rented by Marriott. That is 100% factually incorrect, and implies that Marriott controls all unoccupied units. Further, while having Marriott as a "tenant" (i.e., renting direct from unit owners) is of great benefit to the occupancy status of the building and of tremendous value to unit owners, Wiki typically isn't an advertising medium, which is why I edited the links and text. NPOV Dispute [Grand Bay Hotel, Parc FiftyOne, The Michelangelo, Executive Plaza]
[edit]Section reads like an advertisement for the hotel and is certainly not neutral. See bolded text:

In 1992, Starhotels acquired it for $42 million and renamed the hotel The Michelangelo.[3] Starhotels, through careful and complete restoration and management, has brought to New York City a taste of Italian elegance, fine service and a guest's memorable experience. Times Square has become an important center for finance and commerce, as well as maintaining the lure of Broadway Theatre and unique tourist experience. The mixed use of the structure includes the popular Ruth's Chris Steak restaurant.
