John Banks
[edit]John Banks didn't die in Israel, he lived there there from 1969 until a month before his death in april of 1988. In march of that year he was diagnosed with advanced cancer and was transported to a hospital in England where he died a month later. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.228.241.218 (talk) 00:22, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- That's fine but you need to provide a source for that. Granted, the information in there currently is also uncited but that doesn't mean it's better to replace it with yet more unsourced material. How do you know he went to England before he died? Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 05:29, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- It was reported in many Israeli newspapers at the time. The only thing i was able to find is this [1] but it's in hebrew it's a trustworthy site though (part of the shoken network). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.229.222.178 (talk) 12:00, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
John Banks did go back to Liverpool. See the Liverpool Beat website for more information. Billy Kinsley was with him when he passed.Zorro932 (talk) 14:02, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- As is stated above, we need a reliable third-party source to verify this information. Personal word of mouth etc., is not encyclopedia-worthy. Thanks,
