Right now it's a matter of speculation whether the appearance of Karen Walker in the commercials of the show is a way to simultaneously use the popularity of the Will & Grace character to promote Mullally's show while simultaneously distancing herself from her character, or if Mullally will actually appear as Karen in the show.
