Shane Makem
[edit]Shane is listed in the infobox but no mention is made of him the article. I find this strange... Huw Powell (talk) 22:47, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Conor Makem
[edit]Conor Makem was arrested for putting a camera in a women's bathroom in the building where he works. This is factual, and there's news sources to prove it. Someone is deleting that paragraph. This page should be locked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Surullinen klovni (talk • contribs) 02:39, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- Well, actually he was charged with tampering with evidence (getting rid of the camera) and a bunch of counts of invasion of privacy (for images from the camera on his computer). The last news I could find was from April 2014 stating that no trial date was set yet, although I heard about this story via gossip saying he was just sent away for a year. I think any mention of this story - in this article - should tread very very lightly. Perhaps a new article on Conor specifically could be started once sources confirm a result in the case? Formatting the discography
[edit]Dear fellow editors,
I am leaving the present message out of courtesy to other editors interested in this article.
I applied a few formatting changes to the article today, including in the discography section. Since one or more editors had made the effort of listing all the track titles under each album title, I decided to leave all that content and simply reformatted it as expected for the track listing section in any article about an album. However, a discography section in an artist's article should, strictly speaking, consist only of a bulletted list of album titles, label and year, per MOS:DISCOGRAPHY.
Therefore, I would suggest that editors knowledgeable about the Makem brothers consider creating separate articles for each of these albums, and relocate the track listings to those separate articles before removing them from this one.
I am happy to assist any editor(s) motivated to take the lead in such an effort.
With kind regards;
Patrick. ツ Pdebee.(talk)(guestbook) 14:59, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
& vs. and
[edit]I know that header looks pretty silly. But in the band name, it should either read "Makem & Spain" throughout, or "Makem and Spain". The website seems to indicate we should be using the former. Both occur randomly in our text. Huw Powell (talk) 06:46, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
