Main Event Mafia, Millionaire's Club, and nWo

[edit]

I think that if the Millionaire's Club and the New Blood are gonna be linked as "See also" type reference articles to the Main Event Mafia, then considering the direction that the Mafia has taken and how much they're dominating TNA storylines, the New World Order has no business being kept off there.
Oh, sorry. Forgot to sign. 70.156.201.207 (talk) 21:35, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Though there is a resemblance in the storylines, the only reason New Blood and MC are there, is the storyline was based off that and has even referenced that storyline as motive.--WillC 23:17, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Taz

[edit]

Should we remove him from the members and former members list? On this weeks Impact he clarified his situation and said he was not actually a member of the group. He was Samoa Joe's mentor, but only an associate of the MEM (his words being "associate"). TJ Spyke 14:26, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alliance with World Elite

[edit]

There should be a section on an this alliance as we see both World Elite and Main Event Mafia working together.74.15.248.148 (talk) 03:02, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's already mentioned in the article. A separate section is not needed as the two groups have not really done anything together. TJ Spyke 03:05, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Booker T

[edit]

Booker T is no longer a member of TNA, much less MEM. He has implied that after time off, he will jump ship back to the WWE. I'm removing him and placing him into former members. --Mackdanny (talk) 03:16, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Eric the Midget/Actor Honorary Member

[edit]

Eric was a honorary member, as he was made a member by Kurt Angle himself back in 2008 on the Howard Stern Show. This video shows the Kurt inviting Eric into the MEM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?list=ULq7jEgU-O42M&v=q7jEgU-O42M&feature=player_detailpage#t=769s And this reaffirms it several months later: http://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLFF453255FBB358CE&v=fc_WxLI0c8w&feature=player_detailpage#t=50s — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.149.6.223 (talk) 20:19, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was clearly a joke, he never appeared at a TNA event and was never acknowledged on TV as a member of the group.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 20:55, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

He appeared at several TNA events, I've given 2 sources stating he is a member, which frankly is more than most of the members on the list currently. The fact anyone wasn't acknowledged on TV as a member of a group is ludicrous, ever read any of the mafia wiki pages here, none of them were ever 'acknowledged on TV'. Im pretty sure there is no stipulation anywhere saying you have to be acknowledged on TV to be a member of any group. Joke or no joke he is a honorary member. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.149.6.223 (talk) 00:00, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's a professional wrestling stable created by TNA. Not by Kurt Angle. Angle could have made his grandma an "honorary member" for all we know, but didn't bother to announce it on Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh or whoever. If he didn't appear on a TNA event as a member he shouldn't be listed as one.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 13:20, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You still cant dispute the fact that Kurt Angle has stated on at least two separate occasions that Eric is an honorary member of the Main Event Mafia. I have cited 2 sources stating this. Eric has in fact appeared at TNA events, in the second video Kurt even sorts him out with tickets because he is an honorary member. And since when does an appearance at a TNA event even constitute membership? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.149.6.223 (talk) 17:31, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kurt did a nice thing for a balding, blotchy, club-footed midget in a wheelchair. It's almost like a Make-a-Wish thing, he couldn't not do it. TNA created the stable and owned everything about it and since they never recognized him as a member in any way, shape or form, attending a TNA show as a fan doesn't count.Ribbon Salminen (talk) 18:08, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In Spain, the Academy Director Alex de la Iglesia, when meet the King of Spain, he said that he will give him the Goya Award. Of course, it was a joke. We have soucres, but the King never won the Goya Award. Similar, Angle was joking, no more, no less.--HHH Pedrigree (talk) 20:13, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
