I'm confused, the text talks about the Giustiniani version being an earlier version
than the one in the Wildenstein collection, however the dates for the paintings indicate

The Badminton House painting came to light at auction in Sotheby's, New York (January 25, 2001, lot 179). Sothebys has no record of this auction, at least not at that date. Is this a typo??? --98.232.176.109 (talk) 19:36, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
