Ss112, may I ask why you have this on your watchlist now? Five minutes after I created the article and you run to upload the cover and not even in the right 300x300 px size? Especially after what happened yesterday?--NØ 07:00, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

@MaranoFan: It doesn't have to be exactly 300×300, just around that or lower. I added this page to my watchlist when I saw you made it because as I just said, I wanted to make it myself and was going to if nobody else was. Also, "run to upload the cover"? Wrong, I was on my watchlist, you created the page, I had the file on my computer and summary saved for later, so I uploaded it when I saw the article was made. And I'm not going to stop making what I want to make just because you're interested in the same thing or because we've had confrontations, even recent ones. Let's not have another hours-long argument. Sorry you uploaded a redundant cover and that it looks like I got in your way, but I was going to do it myself and I was online right now. Ss112 07:04, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, whatever. Don't revert my updated upload of equal dimensions on your file page. Thats how Trainor uploaded it everywhere.-NØ 07:06, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
I already said discuss the replacement. WP:BRD, you were reverted and you are now just trying to have the file be yours. Exact dimensions are not a requirement. Ss112 07:08, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Every other fucking cover you have ever uploaded is 300x300 px in size but you had to mess up this one to purposely start an edit war with me right? Revert it yourself or I will have to report you to an admin. You're being disruptive on purpose and Sergecross73 is well aware of the background of this.--NØ 07:11, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
I know their dimensions, but what I said still stands. Don't try and threaten me right after I've said exactly the same thing to you. The exact file dimensions are not that important. And oh great, annoy Sergecross73 with more pings because we're both interested in a topic and I happened to have the file on hand but you make it look like I did to confront you. Well aware of the background of what? Are you accusing me of having been disruptive in the past when you weren't even on Wikipedia? You are being disruptive on purpose because after your image was tagged, you come to mine and try and replace it because everything Trainor-related on WP has to belong to MaranoFan apparently. Just stop and get over it. Ss112 07:15, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Also, let's not forget I made the article for her album Treat Myself, so my interest in Meghan Trainor is not undocumented and it's not like I followed you to an article about a topic I've never been around...Unlike your behaviour with Blueface and Thotiana yesterday. Ss112 07:19, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
As I said earlier, your cover uploads history proves you always upload 300x300 covers and did this one to purposely be disruptive. I'll await admin comments here about what is to be done about it. This is a form of WP:REVENGE because you lost your article for Thotiana to me yesterday and its as clear as day. You're the one with ownership issues. I don't want your 50 paragraphs trying to defend yourself again so I'll leave this to the admins and make this my final reply to this. It's un-fucking-believable that a user who has been on here for 12 years is this petty.--NØ 07:23, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Are you actually saying that I uploaded my cover before you, that I got straight from Epic Records' Twitter and resized myself to keep the integrity of the image intact (so it wouldn't look warped), to be disruptive? Like, what? I thought if you were going to upload the cover art you would have done it right as you made the article, and you hadn't yet so I did. Maybe I should have known you were going to and just not bothered if I knew this would be the result. You'd have accused me of an even worse crime if I had've made the article myself and got your redirect removed. The dimensions of the image have nothing to do with anything, it's just the way it eventuated. And honestly, I could say your creation of Thotiana was your "revenge" against me because you don't like me and you wanted to "put me in my place" because I apparently create "so many redirects". You had clearly seen I was editing the artist's article right as you were doing it, but of course, you will continue to pretend like it's just coincidence and any issues are all my fault. Accusations of pettiness are entirely hypocritical coming from an editor who has a history of IBANs that came from petty squabbles. Ss112 07:29, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
I am not dealing with another night full of MaranoFan drama, so I've reverted to MaranoFan's visibly blurrier, exact-dimension image since obviously they won't stop until they get their way on a Meghan Trainor article. I really don't know why I bothered, the EP will flop anyway, and the article/release will most likely be forgotten very quickly. I will try and steer clear of MaranoFan and what they edit, but to some degree it's inevitable because we both edit many of the same music topics. Anybody reading this, including admins, please do monitor this issue, because if MaranoFan makes any articles for topics I've made quite soon and/or goes and replaces covers I've uploaded, the hypocrisy of crying "WP:REVENGE" at me will be evident. I wouldn't honestly put it past them for further revenge after that "Thotiana" stunt they pulled, that was not coincidence and I will never believe it was. Ss112 07:41, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

Press release

@MaranoFan: Just wanted to ping you about the press release related to the EP. I have included some sources about it in the section above, and it has received coverage and should be present in the article. Aoba47 (talk) 01:45, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

Aoba47, done. Do you think albums is the correct subtopic for this GA nom even though it’s technically an EP?—NØ 18:43, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

This weekend. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:16, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for taking this on. I’ll address everything quickly!—NØ 15:38, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

Infobox

  • Needs new alt, I mean "A hot pink drawing of a locomotive". Remove "hot pink", that's no color
  • No genres?
Yeah, sorry. It's obviously pop but no reviews state that.
Edit: Actually AllMusic states "it's heavy on [...] persistent dance-pop that [doesn't] quite fit into the trends of the late 2010s". Is that good enough to add Dance-pop as a genre to the infobox?
Yes, please add it

 Done

Lead

  • produced songs for the EP → sounds weird
I can't think of a better way to write it currently.
All of the material on the EP was produced by...
Remove the songwriters, its not vital to the Lead
  • and inspired by → as they were inspired by...
Partially  Done, but I tried to frame it better.
  • Top Current Albums → remove it along with its peak
  • Trainor promoted it with several music videos. → Trainor promoted it with several music videos for the other songs on the EP.
  • Add the genre now to the lead.
  • "All the Ways" was serviced to hot adult contemporary radio as a single on February 11, 2019. → "All the Ways" was released as a single on February 11, 2019.

 Done

Background and composition

  • The opener → The opener and lead single,

 Done

Promotion

  • You could point out it was one per day during a week.
  • One day later, the music video for "Good Mornin'" → One the following day, the music video for "Good Mornin'"
  • Add the directors for each video
The directors for all the videos were already there, except "I'm Down" which is a compilation of movie clips and there's no director stated in the description.
  • No other source than Youtube?
Yup, no secondary source covered the "I'm Down" video.

 Done

Single

  • Let's merge this section with the one below, since this one is too small.
Makes more sense to merge it with "Promotion" imo, since singles are released to promote a record.

 Done

Critical reception

  • Rename it to reception (see above why)
  • Idolator, BroadwayWorld, Radio.com → not italic
  • "celebration of romance coming from a singer who had reason to extol the virtues of love" → use your own words more often
Sorry lol, I wasn't the one who originally added this bit. Rephrased :P
  • Single and commercial performance of the album should be in the first paragraph, reviews on the second.

 Done

Commercial performance

  • Remove Top Current Albums (see below the reason)
  • Should be included in the section above as well.

 Done

Track listing

  • Fine
Glad to hear that.

Charts

  • I have some doubts regarding Top Current Albums as it is the same chart as Top Album Sales, but with catalog titles removed. Remove the former.
WP:USCHARTS doesn't seem to state anything about this, so I'll take your word and remove it.
I had a conversation with other user and we seem to share the same opinion. I looked there first, that's why I stated the above, before telling you to remove it.

Release history

No italic on BigFM and Today

  • Source?

References

  • Had some doubts regarding justnje, however, their about section seems fine.
Yeah, they seem fine to me too.

@MarioSoulTruthFan:, I went ahead and made the suggested changes. I agree with all of them.—NØ 16:21, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
