Added db-spam tag, this thing you guys have done, putting the following "They will be inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame [1] in 2007." in the PRESENTATION of every band/musician of your inductees (though some have deleted them on the respective page alone). I know you are non profit, but this way of advertising should be strongly prohibited! I think it's very arrogant to put links to you in their presentation like that, have some respect for the artists and Wikipedia. It would be acceptable IF you just have the links to the artists on the main article page, and I'd think you shouldn't have any links to you're hall of fame on any of the artists' pages! I saw this two months ago and thought it would be deleted, but it wasn't so I'm taking action. 84.217.41.247 17:35, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NOT#SOAPBOX excerpt: "Creating overly abundant links and references to autobiographical articles is unacceptable." 84.217.41.247 17:39, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion?

[edit]

Maybe could someone create a list of all the inductees. I know the list uncludes interesting names such as Billy Joel and might be pretty cool.--Coffeegirlyme (talk) 10:25, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The 2006 and 2007 inductees are already listed, and they are the complete list of inductees as of this time (2/22/08). -- User:divamanhughes 17:05, 22 February 2008.

Fair use rationale for Image:Limhof.jpg

[edit]

Image:Limhof.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
