Possible source of the editor's claim regarding an "accident"
None of the original nuclear bombs were involved in accidents, at least as far as the historical record shows. The 1947 movie about the Manhattan Project, The Beginning or the End", as a totally fictitious accident involving the bomb the day before it was dropped on Hiroshima. Maybe some of the editor's friends confused the movie with reality, or the editor was just offering an excuse for missing the errors in the book. Tgcnow (talk) 22:34, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
