Triva
[edit]Some of this trivia seems kind of...well, trivial. Does anyone really need to know that this was the second movie in the series to feature a slow-mo sequence, or that this movie features the 6th time that Spike sings? JoeMolotov 02:11, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Info
[edit]What links are there about this film? And do we know if Pterano or even Ali will be coming back in this film? It's been 10 years since the ending for The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists showed that Ali said she would return. And about 6 or so since the end of The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire showed that Pterano was banished to the Mysterious beyond until five flying rocks had passed. -24.92.41.95 02:21, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Where does it say that Rinkus and Sierra are back?
- And Mo? Kochdude388 17:08, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Mo is seen during the song Flip, Flap and Fly.
- Besides, Ali is back in an episode of the TV series.
- Actually, Pterano was banished to the Mysterious beyond until five years have passed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.221.32.92 (talk) 20:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Rename
[edit]Could move this article from The Land Before Time XII: The Day of the Flyers tm The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers because they're actually calling the subtitle "The Great Day of the Flyers"?
- Do you have a source for this information? —tregoweth (talk) 01:17, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, but that's what it said in the Flip, Flap and Fly music video, "The Great Day of the Flyers".
Aspect Ratio
[edit]What is the aspect ratio of this film? From what I've seen on the official website, there's some indication that The Great Day of the Flyers was created in 1.33:1 (or 4:3) and matted to around 1.85:1 (16:9). And if there are widescreen DVDs outside of the United States and Canada, are these matted prints as well? Movingimage 14:37, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- I think you're wrong! The film was created in widescreen, not full screen. The only scene that was matted on the official website was a short scene in which Ducky says "Oh, I believe it. Yep yep yep". See the Flip, Flap and Fly music video, which is issued in widecreen, and look for the film on DVD and see how they reformatted it. And besides, there are widescreen DVDs outside of the United States and Canada. So see the back of the Indian DVD cover here. Also, see the information about the Australian DVD here.
Crazy Credits?

Plot section
[edit]The plot section is horrible. It could really use some expansion and correction of grammar. Hypnobrai (talk) 21:00, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
