Talk:The Konks

I really don't think this should be deleted. I'd say that The Konks deserve a page mainly because their (pretty prominent) inclusion in Rock Band. I heard their song in the game and wanted to find out more about them, and I wouldn't doubt there are quite a few more people who did the same. How about play the game? It's not hard to do. If you doubt they're in there, rent a copy. Their song is one of the ones that comes in ever version and doesn't need to be unlocked. It sometimes plays on the main menu. --75.151.116.105 (talk) 02:06, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

The Konks are an active band. They are recording and will be releasing new material in 2009 (reference coming soon). The perform live in the Boston area. As such and given their historical and current significance in the US alternative rock scene, their entry should not be deleted from Wikipedia.
