Influence of Prys v Herbert

Although a few secondary sources claim that Baker was influenced by Prys, it is clear that the main influence in George Herbert's translation of the psalm, which introduces the "of love my shepherd is" line in the first place (absent from Prys's Welsh translation). A comparison between the Baker hymn and the Herbert translation makes this obvious.
