The above summary is completely inaccurate.

The three children were:

Sek-Lung, the youngest, a sickly child, Jung-Sum, Second Brother, who was adopted into the family after his father killed his mother and then committed suicide - who was gay, and Jook Liang, the daughter who was friends with the Monkey Man.
