Andy Griffith?
[edit]I completely disagree with the statement that Huckleberry Hound sounds like Andy Griffith. They both have southern accents sure, but not even the same type of southern accent. If there is recorded references to them trying to cash in on Andy Griffith with Huckleberry, I'd like to see the source cited. Seeing as the Huckleberry Hound Show debuted 2 years before the Andy Griffith show, I find it unlikely. Sure he was gaining some fame by then, but I wouldn't consider him someone to cash in on the likeness of before he had his own show. Aside from all that, like I said before, their voices aren't similar aside from being southern. Huck is a much slower talker with a less-intelligent and less authoritative feeling to his voice. I'm not editing it out, but how does everyone else feel about this? Hastor (talk) 20:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- It's some editor's opinion, nothing more, and I agree Huck doesn't sound that much like Andy. Now, Huck certainly does sound a lot like Reddy the dog in Ruff and Reddy, or that dog character in some of the MGM cartoons - but that stands to reason, as they were all voiced by Daws Butler. And not only did those precede Andy's fame, but Butler himself said he got that voice from someone he knew back home or something. It's gotta go. Emmy Award
[edit]Someone could maybe add the following to the article (I'm a non-native speaker/writer). This show got an Emmy Award and this isn't mentioned in the article. It's one of the highlights of Joseph Barbera's career. Source: first minute of this part of an interview with him (00.33-01.07, to be exact). --82.171.70.54 (talk) 00:04, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

George Nicholas and Ed Love links.
[edit]Someone removed the George Nicholas link so I added it again. I also put the Ed Love link. Stop removing them. By the way, these links are from the credits. 79.112.64.139 (talk) 12:16, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
