Merge

[edit]
  • Merge - uncontroversial merge The Hood (comics) shouldn't have been created and this article has the correct naming following Comics Project guidelines. (Emperor 22:05, 26 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]
  • Merge - There's no need for both articles. Stephen Day 22:16, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - per nom. —Lesfer (t/c/@) 18:55, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - The character was introduced as a major villain in New Avengers #33, giving him continuity outside of his own limited series. From the interview with Bendis, it appears that he's trying to push him as a bigger character. One article should be distinctly about the character and the other about his limited series. EvilCouch 20:45, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment I disagree. The character may be more important than he was just a short time ago, but not important enough to make the series notable outside of the character itself. Stephen Day 21:38, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
      • Comment Indeed. If a character appears in their own eponymous mini-series (or even series usually) that is discussed within the characters biography/publication history. Otherwise it'd lead to a lot of replication of material. In this case two entries is redundant (and also note that isn't even how these are setup - they are both superhero articles and if the person who created the second one had found this I'd imagine it would never have been created). The Hood's powers

[edit]

"At least once, the cloak allowed Robbins to fire a sort of electrical energy from his hands." Shouldn't it be noted that, right before he shot electricity from his hands, he got hit by a tazer? Or am I not remembering the issue correctly? Notthegoatseguy 12:53, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Crime Syndicate

[edit]

Shouldn't a separate page be created for the members of the Hood's crime syndicate since I don't believe his character page should be used for this.

Also, some of the people listed as being members aren't. Crusader (Blackwood), for example, has been stated as attending the inaugral meeting but not joining. EMFreyre (talk) 17:28, 21 October 2009 (UTC) EMFreyre[reply]

Name

[edit]

The article randomly goes between referring to the character as 'the Hood', 'Parker' and 'Robbins'. Is there a convention for referring to comic book characters as their alter-ego, their last name or their first name? It's confusing as is. 66.208.17.254 (talk) 22:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

disambiguation needed

[edit]

The Hood is also the place where it happens.- Gangs are located in the Hood. A great place to buy or sell drugs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.59.236.13 (talk) 21:05, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking through the page and noticed something that I know isn't correct, but I don't know what it's supposed to be. The piece in question is at the end of the Dark Reign section..."unread-ques" makes no sense whatsoever. Alsebra (talk) 20:25, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
