A fact from The Holocaust in Italy appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 15 November 2018 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Hi everyone!
I would like to add information about the RSI Council of Ministers putting laws in place for them to take Jewish property at the beginning of the second paragraph. The author of the source I will be gathering the information from is Simon Sullam in his work "The Italian Executioners, The Genocide of the Jews of Italy". Another addition I would like to add to the section is by adding a new short paragraph about the EGELI. I will be gathering my information about the EGELI from Ilaria Pavan, in her work "beyond the things themselves". All together I will be adding about 5-7 sentences. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for the edits I plan to make. CU2024 (talk) 22:41, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wiki Education assignment: Jewish Life from Napoleon to Hitler

I am a student at Chapman University and one of the assignments for my Jewish Life class is to add to a wiki page. I am planning editing the article and giving a more concise explanation of the phases of change in the treatment of Jews in Italy. I am planning on using a source by Liliana Piocciotto called “Statistical Tables on the Holocaust in Italy, with an Insight on the Mechanism of the Deportation.” This source does a great job explaining the phases of the Italian government’s policies regarding Jews. Additionally, it dives deeper evidence into the relationship between Mussolini and Hitler which supports one of her causes for the changing of various policies regarding Jews.
Hi Pharaoh555, your instructor here :-). I'm removing your contributions because they don't add any new information to the Wikipedia article. They mostly repeat what the article already says in different ways (the phases of persecution). There are also some grammar errors. Hope you try to tackle this a second time, and I'm happy to help in that regard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chapmansh (talk • contribs) 05:31, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
