General Notes

[edit]

The prose (grammar, tense) in this article needs quite a bit of work. I'll start to work through it over the next few days. My other concern comes with this article relying quite heavily on original research. Most of the citations are not from reliable third-party sources, they're from an editor's transcription of the video tape, which (unless I'm mistaken) is not an acceptable source. The photos, as well, are taken by an editor, and have been released to creative commons, but I don't think photographs of copyrighted material can be released in creative commons under fair use (or anything else). These are major areas of concern, especially if this article is going toward GA. More comments to follow... Jhfortier (Talk · contribs ) 20:24, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'll review this article shortly. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:37, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found:

  • I'm concerned about the heavy referencing in the lead. As the lead is supposed to be a summary of the article, references should be minimal, as they would be discussed further and ref'd later. I took one out that wasn't needed, and I'm sure more can be cut.
  • "Players must collect the six Keystones of different colour to win" colours.
  • "Hellin is evil infant trouble-maker" is an evil infant
  • Capitalization varies between Numb skull and Numb Skull. Make it consistent.
  • "Chantraine. and a Numb skull" comma
  • "The Harbingers became one of the top ten best selling games in America and UK, within months of its release." does this mean both Americas or just North?
  • "two booster tapes was released." were

I'll put the article on hold and will pass it when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:25, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good. One thing I would add, if you can find it, if if there's any release information in Australia, since that's where the game originated. Anyway, I'll pass the article as a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:40, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
