Alliance with MEI and Bovè

ecologist vs environmentalist

The opening sentence calls les Verts "an ecologist political party." But "ecologist" in much of the English-speaking world means "one who studies the science of ecology," as evidenced by the link, which is a redirect to ecology. I would like to change "ecologist" to "Green" in the first sentence, wikilinked to Green party. Okay with others? --Allen (talk) 18:37, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Les Verts v Parliament

Should we mention this European Court of Justice case Parti écologiste "Les Verts" v European Parliament Case 294/83? The Greens sued the Parliament in the ECJ before even getting elected and forming the group. And the subsequent election saw an earlier appearance of the coalition name Europe Écologie. – Kaihsu (talk) 01:27, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
